The script copier utility for the v2 release version is attached here.

If you run this utility it will copy plugins that were installed in the commands folder in v1 into v2's commands folder so that they will also be installed in v2.

Hi, Michael,

Congratulations on the release of V2!!

Unfortunately, no time for modeling recently due to work and various other commitments, but bought and downloaded V2 as soon as I saw the announcement :-)

Looking forward to new goodies in V3 after you have had a break.

Regards
Tony

Very nice!

It would be great if there would be a tab where all the defined keyboard shortcuts can be opened as list and activated with a mouse click... I always forget what I defined as shortcut and then have to fly to europe, travel by donkey to a remote location, turn a rock, dig 8 ft deep... unearth the treasure chest, open it with the hidden key from under another rock, then open it, take the scroll out, have it deciphered, cross translated, and then studying it to find the correct entry... then go back home... just to find out I forgot what I was looking for... Long story short.... The shortcuts are a pita to use for me ;}. Probably good for someone using MOI often. If not... one forgets so quickly.

Hi Pilou, yup being able to set up that loop selection on a keyboard shortcut is one of the new things in v2, it looks like you found the script for it already.

There are some details on it in these posts:

Hi Rainer, yeah I do want to make it easier to set up keyboard shortcuts in the future, it's just one of the many areas that I have not yet had time to focus on.

There is a listing of all the different command names that you can set on a keyboard shortcut available here:

Congratulations Michael!

You and MoI are my favourite example how good a software and the support of a company can be!

Thank you so much for all your hard work.

Cheers!

Hi Michael, I did get MoI 1.1 at Studica a few days ago but then v2 came out right afterward, which I didn't expect so soon... But I would like to use the new one, so I decided to get an upgrade. I might have messed things up somewhat because I saw only v1 at Studica, and I just now bought the full upgrade from plimus, thinking maybe Studica would only get v1. This was before I saw your message above. Can that be adjusted?

So I have what appears to be my upgrade license under "supplied license" from the plimus page. I came to the forum initially to see if I am supposed to install the thirty day trial and then enter that number in there or if I will be sent a link to a different installer that I should use. Thank you, --Adrian

Hi Adrian, yes sorry it is going to take a bit more time before the Studica order pages are updated for v2.

There is a different installer for the full version, there isn't any way to "unlock" the trial version.

You should get an automated e-mail when you placed your order, with both your license key and a download link in it to the full version installer.

Please check any "junk" or "spam" mail folders for that e-mail, and if you can't find it please e-mail me at moi@moi3d.com and I will send you back a download link.

The edu version upgrade will be at a reduced cost than the regular upgrade version that you just purchased, so if you would like I can refund your current one if you want to wait and get the edu one when it is ready from Studica.

Thanks for this V2!

And as the "GUI Aesthetics" thread is closed, I put my "2 cent" comment here: the GUI interface is probably one of the best UI I've ever seen for a software, especially for a 3D modeler... The power of this modeler hidden behind its simplicity of use is definitely a great asset.
