Hi noldo, yes well there are 2 different ways you can upgrade an educational version.
If you are no longer a student, you can get the v4 commercial version upgrade, it will work with a license from any previous version including either EDU or commercial.
If you are still a student then there will also be an EDU upgrade version available which will be at a lower cost than the regular commercial upgrade version. I do not sell the EDU versions directly myself though, they are purchased from a reseller like Studica. It will probably be a week or so before resellers will have the v4 EDU versions (both regular EDU license and EDU upgrade) set up on their web sites.

Hi Michael,
Congrats for the release.
I made the upgrade and the link to the Windows version provided online didn't work for me (Google Chrome).
The link I received in the e-mail confirmation worked fine so it's a minor issue... ;-)
Difficult to imagine that my first MoI 3D download was almost 15 years ago !
Thanks for your hard work and continuous support
Schbeurd
Happy New Year !

Hi Michael,
Well, i thought i did everything correctly, but then again, that's what i get for doing my own thinking!
I was going to revisit my installation and try and clean up my ini better...
One thing i've gotten, is multiple duplicate sections...
Like:
[Settings]
[Commands]
In a couple places....
Is that ok or problematic? Should i worry about consolidating those?
Thanks again...

I got this sorted out Michael.
I was confused.
No duplicate sections. Everything working as expected!
Thanks again...

Hi Schbeurd, good to hear from you and thanks for the order!

I've had a couple of people run into this but I haven't been able to repeat it over here when using Chrome.
Do you possibly have any extensions installed like any kind of blockers?

Hi Schbeurd,
re:

Ok, I think I've figured out that Chrome in newer installs will ignore
http:// download links and only wants
https:// SSL ones.
I guess this didn't happen to me in Chrome because I've got an old install with old options set.
I've updated the download links to use
https:// now so hopefully this should be fixed.
