Hello, Is there a link or guide somewhere for the best way to move all the custom scripts from V3-V4?
I have been searching without any luck. I would be grateful for instructions for Mac and PC.
Thanks in advance.

In Windows, under AppData/Roaming/MoI, I have the folders:
/commands (for add on commands, with underline preface. (e.g. _angle))
/customui
/objects
/snapshots
/startup

also files :
MiniSidepane.js, and two MOD versions (unused).
moi.ini
moi_v2_license.key
moi_v3_license.key

Stock MoI commands remain in C:\ProgramFiles\Moi4.0 beta(date) folder.

Hi phlatt5th, you could just use the same process that you used for installing them in V3, there are some instructions here:
http://moi3d.com/faq#Q:_How_do_I_install_a_plug-in_script.3F

However MoI v4 supports a new way to install plug-ins which is to copy them into a commands folder in appdata rather than inside the MoI program folder.

The advantage to installing them there is that they will be found by new beta releases so you won't have to copy them around any more after that.

You can find the appdata directory by using Options > General > "Edit .ini file" button. That will pop up a dialog that has the location of the moi.ini file which is in the MoI appdata directory. There will be a commands sub-folder in there, if you copy your custom scripts into there you won't have to do it on each new release anymore.

Also I think a couple of Max's scripts were updated for v4 so you should probably get the newest version of them from his file archive here:
