Hi nordzway, it's helpful if you would also post the 3DM model file with your curves in them instead of only a screenshot. With the 3DM file it's much easier to test different things and give better advice.

But from what I can tell in your screenshot you would use the Construct > Sweep command to do that. But it looks like you're only selecting a single profile curve for your sweep. Instead of selecting just one profile curve you would need to select both the starting and the ending profile before doing the sweep.

You can give Sweep multiple profile curves to control the shape at each station, it's not limited to only one profile curve.

hi michael,

your method works ( sweep )

But my problem is i have to rotate manualy each profil, i just need a regular torsion or a regular rotation to the start profil to the last

for now if i need to rotate my self is pretty bad ^^

Look Transform /Array / Circular
Look Transform / Array / Curve

Look also at Array 3D by Max Smirnov! ;)

http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=7574.26

French version http://moiscript.weebly.com/scripts-de-max-smirnov.html

So make first with the Profil
Apply _Array3D or other
Then Loft

Hi nordzway, if you post the 3DM file I can give you some better tips.

re: path constrain - there is the Flow function under Transform > Deform > Flow, where you can map a shape from a straight line backbone to a curved one. To use that way you would just extrude your shape to make it initially straight, then use Transform > Deform > Twist to twist it, then draw a line down the center of it and use the line as the base curve for a curve to curve Flow. There is more information on Flow here: http://moi3d.com/3.0/docs/moi_command_reference8.htm#flow

It's also possible that the glitch you show above is just a display artifact and the actual surface is ok. That's something that I could check if you would post the 3DM model file instead of only screenshots.

If sweep is generating something bad between 2 profiles, it's probably because of the twist reduction mechanism in Sweep - normally sweep tries to align shapes in such a way to reduce twist. If you're running into that, then you could try initially placing the 2 end profiles for the Sweep to be non rotated, then do the sweep and introduce the twist by rotating the end profile after the sweep is done using history updating to update the sweep. That's another thing to try.

Hi nordzway, also try the sweep method with rotating the profiles after you've completed the sweep. The history function will kick in and update the sweep dynamically as you manipulate the profile, no script is required.

So a possibility: Transform / Array / Curve / Flat
Loft
then Extrude if you want a rectangle
or if you want other thing like first Post draw just a profil and make a simple Loft! :)

PS But Seems you have Flat options inside the Sweep function! So more easy!

Set Flat direction gives some funny result! :)

Merci pilou

d'axe horizontal/vertical pose problème (me pose problème)

et j'ai évidement une spline qui parcours les deux axes, du coup comment garder cette perpendicularité des profil, car si je met en " libre " c'est l'anarchie et les profils sont inclinés

Merci

So no rotation + perpendicular to the curve ?

So maybe use Array Curve for distribute a number of Points Along the curve

Then use the Transform / Orient / Orient function and copy on these points your profil! :)
