Does there exist a export script somewhere that will export as STL relative to the CPlane? In the case of 3D printing, it's often very difficult to rotate objects off the exact degrees they are in the model in the printing software.

Hi scott, I don't remember any already existing script for that but I think it should be possible to make one for you, I'll look into it later tonight or possibly tomorrow.

Doesn't seem to work for me. When I run the script, it displays a file dialog. If I choose STL, I don't get the meshing options and no file is created. If I choose 3dm as format, it does create the file, but it's empty.

I did get it to work. I had renamed the file so that it worked with extscripts plug in (adding _). Putting it back made it work correctly.
