We can have multiple "Warp Boxes" in the same time!
Each stay editable till they will erased!

With the Move Tool TGI 3D Press CTRL for have all visible points of an edge (Blue Yellow)
The Instancied Components work will all deformations except with the "Full" function!!!

Erase the old edge else no success
erasing faces is no necessary - just aesthetic! :)

Trick is of course to draw an external more one component for more easy modification! ;)
Here the ground is a part of the box, but have not importance!
Only the 12 edges of the box are indispensable!

A volume alone will not deformed by a "Wrap box" along edges if it has no section!
But will be deform on its faces (Translation, Rotation, Scale)

Activate Hide Geometry before using Section Tool!
Just Double-Click on a green edge!

I truly wish there was a function or plugin in MOI3D to import Sketchup and FormZ native models.

Hi Kenmo,

re:

Sorry, neither is likely.

Sketchup files only contain polygon data, not smooth CAD surfaces or solids like MoI is designed to work with for modeling. Something that looks like a sphere in Sketchup is actually a whole bunch of little triangles, not a single sphere surface.

FormZ can contain either polygons or CAD solids but as far as I know it's not a publicly documented file format. So it would require an extremely time consuming reverse engineering analysis to figure out how the data is structured.
