Modeling question

Hi, I'm coming off of Umake on iPad Pro (https://umake.xyz) and recently bought and installed MoI for Mac.
I really like this accurate piece of software and it would be extra cool if someone in the forums could help me with this little thing.

The thing in question is an object I made on iPad before so I can give you a good example of what I'm looking for.
Please see the attached image "iPad example.png".

On Umake I achieved this with one simple action - selecting both shapes and then ask to create a surface - but I have no real idea on how to do this again on Mac.
For your reference, please see "MoI target.png".

Thanks, bye

Thanks! This will help me get going again. I really didn't know, but I'm feeling more self-assured now.

Hi Pieters, yes like Martin writes Construct > Loft would be the tool for that.

You'd want to draw a circle and a triangle, drag the circle upwards in the Z direction, then select both of them and run Construct > Loft to build the shape. Let me know if you are stuck with this process and I will make an example video for you.

It may be a good idea to browse through the reference section of the help file, especially the Construct section:
http://moi3d.com/3.0/docs/moi_command_reference7.htm#Construct

There are are a lot of images in there that show what each command can do - the one for Loft for example has these example images which are similar to what you're doing:

Thank you so much, Mr Gibson. Your Mac- and Windows (!) - application turns out to be a God-send for me and I got a bit all worked up about nothing as you can tell. This is actually my very first 3D-project as an established artist and I'm gonna have it printed soon.

Take it easy with v4, you don't have too many NURBS competitors out there anyway and I'm sure to read more of your well illustrated manual later.

Bye
