Architectural competition - Designed with MoI!

Once again MoI becomes our best friend during the design process of an architectural competition (www.archistart.it).
The good news is that well, we won the first prize! :p

One of the main difficulties we encountered designing with MoI is the lack of a "clipping plane" feature (here we go again !MICHAEL!). To be honest, I would donate to see that implemented. It would simplify the design process a lot.

So I am posting some renderings, MoI + Octane Render for 3dsmax.

Best wishes guys, have some nice holidays.
M.

Hi Max, congratulations on winning first prize, that's great!

Really nice work, looks like a cozy place!

re: clipping plane - unfortunately it's probably still going to be quite a while yet before I'll be able to focus on that, the 64-bit / Mac native port is still taking all my time for now.

Hello wastzzz,

congratulations also from my side! Great work! As Pilou mentioned you can use a workaround with the elephant. There are some limitations but it should work. Limits you can't edit the sliced object. Don't use apply and don't use named selections (I do it in the example) for undestructive edit use selected. It's not so handy like a real implementation:-( but can help.

Have a nice day

Karsten

Really great work. I've seen this at octane forums but didn't know you used MOI too for that great art :).
