I"ll have to try it a bit later today though.

Basically the process is to extract the rounded piece using Edit > Separate, untrim it, then extract its seam edge, draw a line to extend that curve, join them together, use Rebuild to fuse it into one single longer curve segment, then revolve that to get a larger revolve surface.

I have "wrong" edges on the other cuts as well. Next time, I will take care of this problem. Lesson learned ;-)

by the way, I don't think he wants to use the 'trim' command. It would be called the 'circumscribe' command in this case. I think Max should make a script.
