Hi Heiner,

The command is called 'Rebuild'
You can find more information in the MoI help http://moi3d.com/3.0/docs/moi_command_reference10.htm#rebuild

Hi Heiner,

Yes I definitely want to improve the shortcut key editor in the future to work like that, it just hasn't been a focus so far because usually once you have set them up you don't really use the editor anymore after that. So that's made it a pretty low priority but at some point I should be able to give it some attention.

You don't need to search the forum for command names though, they are listed in the "Shortcuts" section of the help file reference section here:
http://moi3d.com/3.0/docs/moi_command_reference11.htm#shortcutkeys

Hope that helps for now!

Hi Michael,
the post with the command refferences you directed me to was a great help.
One more question: If I want to use keys on the numerical keyboard, how do I
indicate that in the list for the keyboard shortcuts?
Regards
Heiner

Hi Heiner,

re:

For those put in the key name on the left-hand column like this:

Numpad0
Numpad1
....
Numpad9
Numpad.
Numpad*
Numpad+
Numpad,
Numpad-
Numpad/

The list of all possible key names is in that same help topic too, just a little above the command names:

quote:

The key can be defined using a letter (like "A") or one of these labels: F1 - F12, UpArrow, DownArrow, LeftArrow, RightArrow, Home, End, PageUp, PageDown, Insert, Delete, Backspace, Space, Numpad0 - Numpad9, Numpad.*+,-/ . The key can be prefixed by one or more of these modifiers: Ctrl+ , Shift+, or Alt+ (or Cmd+ on OSX).

Hope this helps!

- Michael

That really helped,
and some of my commands are now working as intended ... but ... others not yet.
I prefer working with one lage viewport therefore I want to set up my numpad in a way,
which makes it possible to access every view. Usualy I use em the following way:

0 = 3D View
1 = Bottom
2 = Front
4 = Left
5 = Top
6 = Right
8 = Backview

The views 3D, front, top and left work,
right, back and bottom do not. I already tried to add
a Ctrl prefix, like you have to use it when you klick
the view buttons, but with no result ...
What do I do wrong here?
Regards
Heiner

Hi Heiner, actually ctrl does not have any special effect when clicking on the view buttons - it's just a second click (either ctrl held down or not, it doesn't matter) on the already activated view button that will switch it back and forth from the reverse view.

Check out here for what script to put in for the "command" part of the shortcut key in order to jump directly to a particular view:
