Michael, just thought I would pass this along.

We're setting up to do a presentation for a medical console project. Two of us are working on it, one in Solidworks / Fusion and Me in MoI. I was able to VERY QUICKLY take both his and my models into Illustrator (copy/paste as Illustrator) complete with shading and print them out full scale on our Canon printer with little to no trouble. We mounted them on 4' x 8' black gator foam. Everyone was quite impressed! Wish I could share them with you, but it's a proprietary project. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!

Very cool Chipp, I'm glad that the Illustrator drawing output was useful! :) It was one of the more interesting new features for MoI v3.

I don't have an Illustrator, but I use it for exporting curves to photoshop as editable paths. Very useful featurе.

I normally export as a PDF to import into Xara. This allows me to play with he outlines and the shaded part of the model. (Image attached)

Yes, MoI's AI exporter changed significantly since MoI v2 - MoI v2 would only export existing curves as a wireframe to AI format, all the stuff for generating a hidden line drawing with silhouettes, outlines and shading is new for MoI v3.
