A Gothic Revolver.

.50 caliber, for hunting vampires and werewolves. Or chaos tainted mutants in the sewers of a hive city.

I was shooting a blend of modern and old revolver features.

It's a breakopen revolver, and the barrel lines up with the lower chamber ( Like a mateba, and some specialty shooting pistols ), instead of the upper one leading to less recoil and twisting in the hand. Barrel compensator and iron sights, though the Top rail can take scopes.

Overall, I'm happy with the design. Need to add some geegaws, and more detailing.

If Moi supported text curves, I'd add some suitable text to the barrel. ;)

A Hovertank I modeled in MOI

The hexagonal panels are active countermeasure systems. The tank trades armor for active countermeasures and speed.

Cool model Crusoe - that's a great example of using different tools for their different strengths together in a project!

Yes! Very much so. The mesher seems to insert weird triangles sometimes, when the item involved could be a plain quad. Also, where meshed planes intersect, there can be ugly little tris as the edges are knitted together. I don't know if there is a easy way for you to improve it. It's not too bad though.

Hi Crusoe, can you post example models of these problems? That would help me see if I can do anything to tune them up.
