Interesting! I don't think this will help to bring stuff into MoI though because it looks like it converts polygons in the OBJ file into polygon mesh objects in the .3dm file. MoI doesn't read polygon mesh data from .3dm files, only NURBS data.
The notes say that N-gons in the OBJ format can be converted to polyline curves - that part should work. If it had an option to convert all polygons into polylines, that would really be useful... But it doesn't sound like that option is available.
