Hi Terry, I think I've seen some mention of Wineskin adjusting the max number of open files for some reason but if I remember right that's been changed to not do that anymore in the latest version.

So I think once I come back from vacation and roll out a new 2.52 release that should probably solve this problem, and also the next v3 beta should not have it anymore either. I'll double check on this when I get back from vacation, thanks for reporting the problem.

...still, MOI is altering the OS is a way that my 20 plus other apps are not...

I upgraded as BurrMan suggested and the issue is gone. This is some very nice software you are building.
