Hi Tony, do you mean like a kind of terrain surface?

One method is to draw several curves that are slices of the desired surface and then use Construct > Loft to build a surface through them.

Also see this previous discussion for a variety of other ideas and techniques you could use:

Hi Tony, so for making a surface that goes through a specific point you would probably use the "Draw curve > Freeform > Through points" command to make a curve that passes through that point and then use that curve along with some others to build the surface.

Set them up as several sections, like the example in the image attached to this post:

In the future I would like to make a command that would fit a surface through particular points, but currently MoI does not have a command like that and instead is focused on making a surface through curves. So in order to make a surface that goes through a point make a curve that goes through that point and then make a surface from that curve.

This is a sample file

My intent was to create a surface by selecting all the points simultaneously

Hi Tony,
See if this gives you any results.. I opened your file and ran the "ConnectPoints" script on it.. Then I ran rebuild by points with a value that smoothed the curve a bit (The more points, the more it is like the polyline). Then I lofted the curves for this surface.
