I do expect to spend some time in V3 on this general area. I'm not sure right now exactly what will be done for it, but probably there will be some UI for things like volume or curve length calculations.

Thanks Michael G. I have been using the scripts for measuring distances and curve lengths, but volume and area would be sweet :-)
