Hi Juan, there isn't any wireframe method currently.

One thing you can do is turn down the mesh density - to do this go to Options and set the Meshing parameters Surface angle and Trim curve angle to 20 or 30 - this will produce a rougher mesh but will be faster. You can also turn off hidden-line curves and edges to gain some speed as well.

The default mesh density is set to be pretty detailed to provide a smooth-looking display. But if you have a complex model that can add up to a lot of polygons so turning down the density can help with that.

Hi Juan, I'm sorry I don't I will have this for the V1 version - it involves quite a few changes in different areas, especially for selection.

But I know it would be useful and I do plan to add it in a future version.
