Hi Guys,

After a big break, I am coming back to MoI modeling, and to start afresh with this chubby early jet fighter from Marcel Dassault: the remarkable MD-450 Ouragan. Here are a few rendering. Then level of detail is rather sparse but bear in mind that this object is a little more than 30mm long only (as it is designed to be 3D-printed). I wonder if the hair-thick windshield detail will be reproduced properly.

I still have in line two sets of Big-3 bombers: the WW2 heavies (Lancaster, Halifax and Stirling) and their 50's offsprings (the V-Bombers). At least, even at 1/350, these are rather large objects.

As ever, I am struggling a bit to blend the wings in the fuselage and fiddling with the Offset and Shell to make the movable parts of the wings and Rudder, but all in all it is good to be back !

I will keep you posted.

Jean-Paul

Looks good Jean-Paul. I bet it will be neat to see it 3D printed. If you think of it, how about posting a photo when you have done that. It would be interesting to compare the results.
