You type 2/5 and moi convert automatically the result!
Only result is sufficient no? ;)
and 2 +(1/2) will more prudent for complex formula ;)

It's not bad to use ( ) to clarify things especially if you have a longer expression.

But multiplication and division do have higher precedence than addition and subtraction, so for this case you don't need the ( ) and can just write: 2+1/2

That will automatically evaluate as: 2 + (1/2)
