Here's yet another War Rocket ship, the Galacteer Class 3 (around 3 inches in length.)

MOI makes this stuff so great to create. We don't have a final casting yet (I'll post images when I have them.)

Thanks for looking.

Another really cool one Phil, can't wait to see the physical result!

How do the separate parts coming together work? I mean does the end user person who ordered the game snap them together, or is that something that you glue together?

They glue them together, prime the complete miniature and then paint them up. They are mounted on a 2 inch hexagon base (which was designed in MOI3D and rapid prototyped as well.)

We did get one lower res rapid prototype to ensure that the scale was correct and that the fit of all the pieces would be good (not too tight, not too loose.) It's looking good and will probably be printed and cast soon.

Looks great Phil, I've liked all of you're retro rockets for your game since you've been casting them.

nice design. but i don't see how a little bit of glue will be strong enough to support those wings?

You'd be suprised. Superglue and pewter make a very tight bond. It's able to hold up large dragon wings attached to a tiny body. This ship is really pretty small compared to what people glue together with larger miniatures.
