First Model from Scratch... IEC C6 Socket

Hello,

Just wanted to say thanks for a great application. I've been using Moi for a short while and it has quickly become my go to 3D tool. My first model from scratch is an IEC C6 socket for power (aka the "Mickey Mouse"). I couldn't find a suitable STEP model so I decided to download a PDF drawing for reference and build it in Moi. After a few iterations in my mind of the best way to build it it is complete, the first of many in the parts library. Not the most exciting model but certainly one of the fastest small parts I've done in any application, confirms that Moi is worth every penny.

Hi OSTexo, that is a great result, I'm glad that you are getting some good use out of MoI!

Yup, that is kind one of the big ideas behind MoI, to make it possible to draw out simple things really quickly and without a high learning curve.

So that's definitely great to hear that you have been able to make use of it in exactly that kind of a way, thanks!
