Some ideas? :)
I believe you can reload the 3Dm file with image if you put in the same folder
files batwing.3dm + batwing.png

First try : this surface is not so easy :D
And not sure that the back is like this ;)
Does exist some function for make that in one pass without lines of triming?
I know that soap bubble makes that as natural tensile ephemeral structures :)

This sort of surface is an headache :)
Even with the Jotero solution very difficult to refind it!
Dimension?
It's a square, and the base arc circles are corner center to middle edges
Seems internal curvatures can be as you want
Not yet remake :) I must study more in depth :) But I am very slow minding :)
Not sure of the straight line

Excused the ignorance ,but I have difficulty to construct to this detail surface,
you could show the steps to me for the construction of single patch and its

But drawing of the 2 internal curvated lines must be calculated because there will be possible overlaps during the Mirror and rotation!

Cool video!

Your add the 2 crossing curves curvating on the surface : it's just for the design & easy view but are not necessary for the follow mirror rotate....?

PS you can make all zooms 4 views in one click by Right Click on the Reset Button (or two if some objects are selected) ;)

Help me.. the Batwings will not go away!!!

After every session, I check "Mark as Read" -Visible discussions- and all the threads become hidden.

Yet, without fail, the next time I log in, Batwings is back up at the top of the list!
And there's never anything new about them that should make them come back.

I have nothing against Batwings or the people who like them,
I just don't want to see them every time!

Is it me? Am I doing something wrong? :-)

Jesse

Hi Jesse. I have not found a "Mark as Read". THe way the forum works is if you read it, it is marked as read. In the drop-down of the more menu, there is a "Mark as UNREAD" option, perhaps you are checking this everytime and so it returns????

Try just reading it and logging out and log back in again. See if it is set as read.

Hi Jesse, hmmm that is an odd one.

Sounds like it may be some kind of bug in the forum, I have not seen that before though.

You might try clearing cookies in your browser, and also try this link which clears out some other possibly cached forum stuff:
http://moi3d.com/forum/logon.php?webtag=MOI&deletecookie=yes

Also at the top of the topic list on the left side pane of the forum, there is a View: option, is that set to "View: All discussions" when that happens, or is it possibly set to something else.

The way it is supposed to work is that it should get marked as read after you just click on it one time, it shouldn't be necessary to do that "Mark as read" thing.

Let me know if it continues after clearing cookies, maybe there is something messed up in the database that is not letting the read status for you to get updated properly.

- Michael
