Hi Mark, yup I expect to add some tools for this in v2.

There will probably be a few different types of measurement things, probably the first one that will happen here shortly is a kind of "object details" type dialog that will list some information about an object like radius of a circle, bounding dimensions, etc...

I'm going to make that part of an object properties panel that lets you get at some properties of the currently selected objects, I'm currently working on this area right now.

Great! One I use frequently (SolidWorks) is a minimum distance between faces. Very helpful when working with plastic part design. Love to see that at some point.

Hi Mark, unfortunately that particular one is what I would call a much more "advanced" type measurement.

That will probably take quite a while longer for that one, the current priority is for more basic things like just overall bounding dimensions, radius of a circle, length of a line, etc...

for now you could use the "CutomDistance" script from the MoI resource Petr page. I use that all the time.
