The missing end bit was when I tried to booleen in my method so don't need to worry now.

Hi Brian, no problem! Let me know if you have any problems using the revolve method, I can do a step-by-step if you need.

Sometimes it can be easy to get sort of focused on forcing just one particular tool to do everything... But for things with a circular aspect to them, think of Revolve for those.
