There is a new Gallery page available from the main moi3d.com page, the direct link is:
http://moi3d.com/gallery/

This will be a more regular style gallery where you can upload any cool images of your MoI work that you would like to show.

There is a "Submit a new image" link that can be used to upload your images.

You can upload up to 10 grouped images for each entry - so you can include things like renderings from different camera angles, modeling screenshots, wireframes, earlier WIP versions, etc...

There is a description field where you can put some more information about the piece, if you are uploading a rendered image you might want to mention what renderer was used.

Renderings are great to show, but it isn't necessary to only post renderings - just modeling screenshots by themselves are fine too!

When you upload an image set, it will appear under the "Recent additions" category, which is currently the only category. After there is some more stuff filled in there I will add some additional categories like "Jewelry", "Architecture", etc... , and I will periodically move things from "Recent additions" into one of those other categories.

Thanks everyone for posting stuff to the new Gallery, it is looking really cool already!

Someone posted a great bicycle model - it looks like the images got uploaded ok but the additional thumbnail processing timed out and didn't finish building the thumbnails.

Later today I will be fixing up the thumbnail processing part to stop that from happening in the future, but in the meantime if you can let me know your name, and the title and description you want for that entry (you can e-mail me at moi@moi3d.com), I can get that entry fixed up for you without you needing to re-upload it.

Ok, did a few additional tune-ups to the new Gallery - fixed some proportions on the tall skinny type of thumbnails, and tuned up some stuff on the uploader to make it less likely to time out.

Is it possible to add a "Gallery" link to the top of the window? Perhaps next to the "Forum" link?

I just now wanted to take a gander at the gallery but the link it at the top of this thread (which is presently out of reach until I go back to the top...)

Just thought it would be nice to have "easy access" with a link on the menu. ;-)

I've been thinking about that a bit...

On one hand, I don't want to get that bar too totally full because it doesn't work so well if it fills up the whole window on a smaller sized window or on smaller screen resolutions.

But I think that I will give it a try. Even though the gallery and the forum are kind of separate things, I suppose they both are places that you might want to visit more frequently than other parts of the web site, because they get stuff added to them more often. So for that it makes sense to have them more directly cross-linked...

I can edit the text over here, just send me a forum private message or e-mail and let me know what you want it to read.

There are 3 different pieces of text: Title (this one is short), your name, and a description (this one can be longer).
