The "array curve" is not setup to do a set along the path at this time, but a few can chime in with alternate methods if you would like....

Like id the curve is in one dimension, you could create a sweeping surface and project your text onto that, then extrude in place???

Hi Alberto, there isn't really any easy way currently to do that just inside of MoI alone.

Probably the easiest way would be to use a 2D illustration program to make text along a path and then import that and extrude it.

I would subtract the text in the center of the flower.
How can I do?

I used the rotate widget in the V2 version. First I got the edge of the surface of the flower and translated it up a bit above the flower face. Then I moved each corner of the text block to meet that curve at its nearest point. Then I selected the text and moved the rotate widget to the touching point and then picked the raised edge and brought it down to meet the curve. Repeated for all text, then dropped it into the flower as deep as I wanted to go.

Hi Alverman,
I guess I should have posted the file "pre-Boolean" so you could have a better idea of what happened. If it's not clear, a video could be made to help see what the description is a little better.

For me, it's bed time now so if you post back, others can help or I will get back to it tommorow.

Nice work,
Burr

Here's a sample. It can be very precise. (Screen recorder makes it a bit more jumpy on my end)

Remember this is the V2 beta, so V1 wont do this.

Good luck.

Hi Burrman,

Just as an aside... what did you do to color your MoI icons? Are you using a custom UI?

Thanks,

Jesse

Hi Jesse,
I actually got them from Grnedel here in the forum. I think he just took the png files into photoshop or something and re-colored them. If you want "them" I could dig them up for you, or you could just hue adjust your own Icons however you like.

MoI's UI is fully customizable. Either by structure with html files, or by the images that are what you are seeing there with the buttons and such.

Before the beta's started rolling out regularly, There were some guy's working on "Custom UI" skins (User=ASH) that you could apply to MoI that were very cool. I think when the next release rolls out, you may see a couple of these come out again...

Hi Burr...

I am not familiar with Photoshop.
If I can, maybe I will convert all the MoI grey icon to colorize icon.

Maybe someone that expert in Photoshop can do this for us... :) ?
It will very good to have MoI with colorize icon.
Make the UI more fresh ;).

I forgot the link from Grendel.
Burr, have you the link or would you like to upload your color icons here ?

Many Thanks !!!

Hi Anis,
Here they are, courtesy of Grendel!

Put them into the UI\Icons folder. You may want to backup the original Icons in case you dont like it.

Again, once the release is out, there will probably be some customization that others do offered up in the forum.

Hi Pilou...

Thanks for the link.
Maybe we can also use software like Inskape or Gimp.
The problem is not on the appication that I have to use, but I dont know on how to use Photoshop to convert from GREY Icon to COLOR Icon.

It will be vey good if Iyes can give us tutorial on how to convert from Grey to Color Icon.
Then later I can convert another Icon by my self or maybe another MoI user can help :)

Thanks !
