Full Version: bug?

Michael,

I may have found a bug. If I fillet with solid++ on the the two bottom edges and then export out to STEP the model is fine but when I fillet with ACIS and export out to STEP the file becomes corrupt. If you bring the two step files back into moi they both are solid but you can see it is failing in the ACIS. the ACIS also fails in 123D Design and Plasticity. the Solid++ is fine.
I've attached a moi file with the two models named to the fillet type and the two step files also named to the fillet.

thanks,
Val

Hi Val, thanks for reporting this bug.

Do you have a version of this file before applying the fillet on the bottom edges?

That would help me to be able to reproduce your steps.

Thanks, - Michael

Yes I do have the model.
The process is I lofted a surface, added a bottom and joined the two surfaces, solidified the surfaces, cut the notches out then went through filleting it.

hi val2

类似的倒角算法BUG :fillet for acis &soild++.jpg

在这个由我发起的讨论中,或许能对您有所帮助。
