Hi Franz,

Some time was spent looking at your version 4, 3dm file.
Please do not take this as criticism, but I will point out a couple of issues.

The 10 pointed stars do not have ONE center point, and so are NOT circular arrays, and are not symmetrical.
Some of the points of the 10stars have TWO line segments, where one would be enough. Maybe this would have an effect on the gcode, and be detrimental to the routing paths?
(assuming the "screen" is cut out of one solid sheet)

Circular array of various polygons are NOT quite symmetrical, with respect to the 10start "center" point(s) Maybe this accounts for the
various long, interrupted lines not being along one line(?), but havint some slight offsets(?)

Maybe the original builder, due to construction techniques, did not get all of the parts in quite the right spots, for symmetry???
I did not spend any time with the original image loaded into MoI.

Your project has been interesting.

Hi Franz,

Don't know if this is important for your CNC work, but many curves in your pattern are open curves.

I think it could be source of problems.
But perhaps in your process it isn't matter.

Thanks for the helpful feedback.
The entire order for production is currently still pending as the customer is still looking for a "sponsor".
I therefore still have some time.
Thanks also for pointing out the 2 different centers, that will indeed be the reason for my differences.
I plan to look into it further when the work is fixed and then report back on the CNC work.
So far we have been allowed to make a temporary solution for the steps so that the Imam has something to sit on. So I'm still confident.

It is always a pleasure to be on this forum as you are dealing with experts.
