I love how I can import dimension property presets from an existing file. Is there a way to do the same kind of thing for styles?

If you have a template file set under Options > General > "Template file" then you can use "Add default styles" (on the Styles menu in the scene browser) to load in the styles from that template file.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your rapid reply.

I was hoping that there was a way to do this without going through a template, like how dimension presets can be directly imported from any old file.

But it sounds from what you're saying like that's not possible.

Not currently but I will set up a new script method for moi.geometryDatabase.loadStylesFromFile( filename ) .
