I believe if you make "box modeling" + subdivision (Max Smirnov) inside Moi, you will have automatically quads inside c4...

Quads like this ... that makes difference than regular quads ? I don't know :)

If you limit "Ratio Aspect to 1" at the export OBJ you will have this! So real quads! ;)
Not regular like classical...but what difference for the Render engine ? ;)

For polymesh in C4D I don't know again if that is satisfying !
Just try it! :)

I suppose that you have seen this another free one ? https://github.com/huxingyi/autoremesher (not tested)

Thank you very much Pilou !

It seems that InstantMeshes does not like Ngons and
Autoremesher makes troubles, too ? I will go trying ...

Take just triangles maybe for the quads transformers!

There is also a free one that makes quadrangles! : Meshlab!
some alambicus but...
https://www.meshlab.net

And you can also send me your file for test inside ZBrush or 3D coat...they have remesher inside! ;)
I have not c4d!

The one of today :)
When some faces on a solid are not divided for general subdivision so fails

Draw lines missing
Select All / Trim
Kill Curves (Browser curves selection)
Subdivide
