Hi Pilou
>> I load waves.3dm

in the Weaves 3dm file there are several objects that have been
instanced in Moi Elephante with Get by Name ,
ascertain with Update that the instanted objects appear on the screen
and then Run ...
do not move any Knob ... before you understand how it was built
the set, some parameters make sense only when compared to objects
instanced input ...
I'm sorry Pilou, but I can not post images and files directly
in the Forum; I have to use (thanks to your suggestion) Mediafire to be able to share my works with you
have a nice day
alberto
PS-I tried with my laptop, everything goes perfectly

Grazie Alberto! (Thanks Alberto!)
@You "...Believe me, math has nothing to do with it..."
IMHO "math" is the "hidden" things of almost all the things that are related to our "five senses" :)
Including any form of Art.
And thinking about this I'm not saying that "math", with its logic and rules, "kill" the Art...but I think that math has a sort of "poetry" in itself.
I know only the very basics of math but in almost all my CG works or experiment, both 2D and 3D, I can find a little bit of "hidden" math :)
Ciao!

Hi Marco
I fully agree with your words, and remember that
the great Picasso said "I do not seek, I find"
alberto
From: mkdm
Picasso, of course but...how to not remember the "genius" Michelangelo that "pulled out" his stautes from the rough marble !!!
From: speedy (AL2000)
forget to conclude that regretted he said "why do not you talk"
ciao

Hi Friends
an animation test of a
Mechanical Iris, entirely made in Elephant ....
I think because of the numerous Booleans made
the file is heavy, and this undoubtedly affects
on the yield of the Quartz Knot ...
in any case, for those interested
the file at this link:

best
