Any chance Advanced NODE BUNDLE users putting together some YouTUBE demos of their NODES on work methods to give beginners a leg up in the process.

Ciao AL2000!
Visto quello che riesci a fare con il Project Elephant mi chiedo cosa riusciresti a tirar fuori da Grasshopper per Rhino !!
W la matematica (questa sconosciuta....per me) !
(In English)
Hi AL2000!
Considering what you are able to do with Project Elephant I'm wondering what you can make from Grasshopper for Rhino !!
Maths forever (this stranger....for me) !
Bye.

Ciao Marco
Poly Surf come fossero Mesh, etc etc
Tutto merito del Geniale Max-
Ti ringrazio per le belle parole , e ti esorto comunque a scoprire al più presto anche Grasshopper
Buona Giornata

Hello Marco
In Grasshopper I can get out a lot more,
But the merit is the program ... not mine
There are a number of tools available by default from the program
Scary ...
Moreover, there are a whole number of plugs, made free of charge by third parties
"Amateurs", dedicated to the most varied areas, first of all Kangaroo, Wb Mesh, etc. etc
And many more
It is worthy to give a hint to the potential of the program
Believe me, it's worth it-
However, there is also to be said that Elephant in some respects
And in my opinion innovative in terms of operation
Some Nodes, Math Point, subD for example and the treatment of
Poly surf as if they were meshes, etc. etc
All the credit to the Max's Genius-
I thank you, and exhort you to discover Grasshopper
Have a nice day

Grazie AL.
Cercheró di tornare a dare un'occhiata prima o poi anche a Grasshopper (Ho Rhino da 5 anni e da circa due lo apro solo per scaricare gli update della WIP 6 :)
Buona giornata.

Hyperbolic functions, such as sinh and cosh, do not seem to available in nodeeditor v .93.
Are they likely to be available in the future or does the litegraph library not support them?
Mike.
From: bemfarmer
Hi Mike,
Try:
cosh(u) = ( exp(u) + exp(-u) ) /2
sinh(u) = ( exp(u) - exp(-u) ) / 2
Brian

Thanks, Brian.
Of course - it worked!
Nice work around.
Mike.

Hyperbolic Helicoid. HyperbolicHelicoid
Thanks to Brian's formulaic equivalents to sinh and cosh I've got this working.
HyperbolicHelicoid.nod produces a surface which is easily converted into a solid by executing Construct/Offset/Shell using Thickness 0.01mm (for default .nod values) and Direction: Normal

Cool: with image + Nod we can decide if yes or no we want load the tool! ;)
Maybe useful for pasta makers ?

Alex, as far as I can tell this is the latest from Max. It's what I'm using.

Hello Alex,
for me it Looks like that a modified Version is used by Mike. ScaleUVW and Concat2 are no standard nodes. So please try the Version from here:
http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=8197.7
Have a nice day
Karsten
p.s.: Most of the stuff here needs a modified or better a Version with extensions:-)
From: Mike (MGG942)
Karsten,
Slightly puzzled by your post as your link leads to nodeeditor.v.0.93.2017.03.09mod.zip Note the 'mod'
and my post leads to v.0.93.2017.03.09.zip - no 'mod'
Also, my shortcut key in MoI, F9, executes this command: moi.ui.createDialog( 'nodeeditor.v.0.93.2017.03.09/index.html', 'resizeable,defaultWidth:680,defaultHeight:420', moi.ui.mainWindow );
Am I missing something?
Mike.
From: Karsten (KMRQUS)
Hello Mike,
everything is fine, If you have collected all the puzzle parts. Only from time to time I share the complete collection, for those who want to start from scratch.
The modifications are not really modifications to Maxs Versions - there are only additional nodes. So you can replace, add or delete files in the extensions Folder without an effect to the base Version from Max. So if you think something is missing, you can also add or replace single files and restart.
Have a nice day
Karsten
p.s.: You can recognize the modified Versions by the colored Cursor in the nodeeditor (yellow or blue)
From: bemfarmer
Note that Max added the "extensions" subdirectory for noncore/nonstandard nodes.js.
Under ui/nodeeditor93/nodes/extensions, place non-Max (some_new_node.js) nodes.
- Brian
The nodeeditor93mod name indicates that modifications have been made.
The yellow cursor is nice. I tinkered with colors, or should I say less darkness:-)
