Does it possible to strain the number of sides of polygons ?
so 4 will done only quadrangles, 5 hexagons etc...
for some connexion with this sort of thing! ;)

Hi Pilou,
thanks!
having so much fun With Max's script and Michael's tip. :-)

Voronoi is the dual of Delaunay Triangulation.
You will have to experiment a bit with drawing some triangles to understand how Voronoi works.

Hello mat10X.
Thanks.
@You "...how are you going from control points to the individual points on the curve/path to create the Voronoi?..."
Simply!
With one of the amazing scripts made by Max Smirnov! : PointsOnCurve
Grab it here :

This is the script you need :

Hi Finema!
Very cool!!!
This the kind of CG style a really like :)
Bravo!

Hi SBEECH!
Very nice!
I too want to experiment something like that, but using voxels in 3D-Coat.
Maybe tomorrow I will post some test render.
Ciao!

Hello Stefan!
@You "...He he, yes this could be an interesting field to be more explored......"
Oh yeah! Almost endless exploration ;)
Very cool this kind of "Text Voronoi art"!! Very cool!!
A sort of...."specialized branch" of very nice "industrial design" IMHO.
Thanks a lot!

Hi Marco,
yes, lot's of things can be explored, thanks to Max! :-)

Hi Pilou,
> You will have to experiment a bit with drawing some triangles to understand how Voronoi works.
As a little test you can try the following, draw some random connected triangles and use Michael's
Circumcenter script. Once you have the points connect them with straight lines and voilá you have
a Voronoi Diagram over you triangles. :-) You can use of course Max's Voronoi script, but this way
you see the process better.

Of course...Max!
Works like a charm. Michael's suggestion also works very well. Good to know the base manual operation. Getting spoiled with these amazing scripts.
Thanks Marco (Max and Michael)!

Hi Stefan, those would make nice stained glass or mosaics!

Hi Michael,
thank you! I may do small pieces from some of them later, to print out in color
on our 3D printer at work.
Can't wait what Marco and all others will come up with!

Hello everyone!

LOL :)
...I'd really like have the chance to Print in 3D some of these my "sculptures" to see how they appear physically.
But I haven't any kind of experience in 3D printing and I don't know if, for example, I can ask to the Printing service : "Hey, this is my 3D-Coat model in super high poly count, take it and print it and do a good job" or if I have to "decimate" it before sending to the printing service.
But I don't know how this decimation would alter the smoothness of the model, and so on...
Actually I have
zero experience in 3D Printing. It's an unknown "place" for me :)
Maybe some of you here could teach me the "very basics steps" for sending a 3D model to a 3D Printing service, before I waste time and money :)
Thanks to everyone who will help me in this "endeavour" :)

Hi Michael.
P.S. ....maybe a new Thread called "Very basics of 3D Print a model made in Moi or 3D-Coat" could be created...
But I don't know if this new thread could be
too "off topic" related to this Moi Forum.
Michael, what do you say, do you think it's a good idea to create here this new new thread ?
Is it possible ?
I stay tuned.
