Full Version: default drawing colour

Hi Mike, turn on the Scene browser by clicking on this:


Then in the browser pane, expand the "Styles" section here:



Then you can do stuff by clicking on the color swatches, these things:



One style is marked with a dark ring around it. That one is called the "Active style" and that's the one that will be assigned to new objects that you draw.

You set it by doing a right click on the color swatch.

A left click on the color swatch will assign the selected objects to that style.

A left click with the Ctrl key held down on a swatch will pull up a color picker to edit the style color, a left click with Ctrl on the name will let you edit the name.

There are also a few things on the 3 dot menu here:





If you want to set up the default styles and active style that will be used when you first start up MOI or do a File > New, edit the styles list and save it to a .3dm file, and then set that file as the startup template under Options > General > Template file.

Also for an alternate way to assign and edit styles if you have the scene browser closed you can click on the style line in the properties panel here:
