Hi retrolenzil, that's great - the default changed from moi v4 to v5 from OpenGL to Direct3D11 because that seemed to work better for more people.
But it can depend on the version of Wine and your GPU driver.

Today I downloaded the new beta version of Moi3D, and it works really well. I don’t know if this improvement is due to the latest Wine Staging updates, but I no longer have the issues I used to have with Antix Linux.
For me works pretty fine and smoothly.
