Hi John, yes you can install the same MoI license on multiple machines that you own, just as long as you are only actively running on one machine at a time.

The problem with your laptop is due to having a new version of Windows with Internet Explorer version 8 installed on it.

The original MoI 1.0 version has a problem that is caused by IE8, which makes various buttons like the OK and Cancel buttons not show up.

To fix it, install the version 1.1 update which is available from here:
http://moi3d.com/download.htm

When you run that updater, it will patch your 1.0 installation to be version 1.1 instead, and the updated version 1.1 can run fine when IE8 is installed.

So after you run the updater you should then be able to run MoI and enter your same license key on your laptop without a problem.
