I thought I'd try my hand at creating my own version of JPBWeb's compact fluorescent lighting fixture. The model was constructed with helical curves as the foundation. The really tricky part of this model was the final rendering, where materials and illumination had to be coordinated so that the bulbs emitted a realistic amount of light, while the bulb itself had some level of detail. |
