Multi-view dimensioning in v4

I'm wanting to create a set of conventional third angle ortho drawings from a 3D model in MOI and I have a few questions:

1. Am I right in thinking there is no way to output front, top, right drawings in one operation - they have to be done separately and assembled?

2. If I add dimensions in the front view for they appear as thin lines in the right view - etc. Currently I'm working around this by using a different style for each 'view set' of dimensions and switching them on / off as required. Is this the best way to do this?

Thanks

If you use the "No Native" Dimensions by Max Smirnov 1 & 2 are ok ;)

Hi Viewbyte,

Yes that's correct for v4. In the future I do want to add in an option for multiple views in one go.

They'll show like that in the viewport so you can do things like select them. They won't show like that in the PDF/AI generated output once that is out in the next v4 beta.

OK, noted!

I do understand your point about window selection in the 'edge view' windows.

However, my feeling is having those edge lines visible is confusing, and it's only one click back to a 'face on' view to select them.
If I had a 'vote' I'd vote to hide them in the 'edge' views : )
