Hi Yannada, I see now. The problem is that MoI isn't really currently set up to work with polygon mesh objects, just NURBS objects.

But one thing I've been planning on doing is making a converter program that would take a polygon mesh file and extract the wireframe of the polygon mesh as line segments and write that to a .3dm file. That would let you work with the lines in MoI to snap on to, etc...

I'll see if I can give that a try sometime next week. At first I was going to focus on converting from OBJ format though, do you have something that can read .3ds files and output .obj ?

Then you need to use a converter program that I haven't written quite yet, hopefully I can get to it later this week.
