Hi albehany, by default Windows will prevent programs from modifying files inside the Program Files directories as a security measure. That's probably what is happening here.
If you go to the shortcut that you use to launch MoI, right click on it and choose "Properties" and on the "Compatibility" tab, turn on the checkbox that says "Run this program as an administrator". That will run MoI with an elevated privilege level that will then allow it to make modifications to directories inside Program Files which is where the object library stores its files for v3.
The v4 version stores it inside the appdata directory instead so that isn't needed for v4 I don't think.
