Hey all,

Was looking for suggestions as to how to model this tap head (in yellow!) in MoI...I was thinking about shopping it off to SubD but there must be a rail trick I'm just not thinking of?

Merci!

- Rich

For me SubD is a possible idea, but I never know before testing the result.
So do, redo, re-redo, test, re-test, re-re-test...

The Biconcave script is another possible helper.

Amazing cheers all!

I kind of ended up running with more of a Barry-H approach (4 outer spheres, and a revolve curve running into the center...) but then went a bit mad with the workflow. Yes the thing with SubD is it's always a guessing job (for me at least.)

Went with:

MoI OBJ (which was fine, really) > Houdini VDB to Polygon conversion for reliable re-mesh > 3D Coat for smoothing, bit of slight 'organic' surface imperfection...

I'll have to check this biconcave script!
