I have been searching for a script that will allow the user to hover over a highlighted object and press a keyboard button to delete it. This will reduce the number of clicks of the mouse to remove items.

Hi Wayne, sorry I'm not aware of any script for doing that. There is not any functionality in MoI that works on the preselection highlight like you want and currently that highlighting state is not accessible by script code.
