Using flow to "wrap" a plane on a sphere?

I have been playing with Flow command again with great success, but I seem to stumble upon something simple. I was wondering if there is a way to wrap a plane around a sphere (something similar to closest points option in project). I managed to project the bordering square but iirc, there was a way to use flow to do it in one move? Projective tickbox does not seem to work in this case.

Any ideas?

Hi nameless, you'll need to make 2 planes for projective flow, then you would select one to be the object to deform, and the second one as the base surface.

With the planes stacked on top of each other it can be difficult to select the second one when you're at the "Select base surface" stage, but you can use Edit > Hide at that point to hide the first selected one so you can get at the second one.

Ahhh makes sense! I thought about it for a second but then deemed duplicating the same plane too weird to try.

Thank you so much for the reply Michael!
