Hello. Please! don't delete me,i'm not a very bright fellow. Can some one pleas share a link how to make Keyboard shortcuts step by step for dummies, this is my first softer that requires this sort of seet up. I have paste some Html files in comands folder from there my brain melts,where to write shortcuts what to doo, where to go,

Options / ShortCut Keys

Press "Add" button will add to Left Column any free keys and (or not) Shift... Ctrl... Alt

In the
Right Column input the exact name without space but can be Name, name, NamE, nAMe etc...
(normally without .js)
Can be also an existing function like Circle

You can also for direct action press TAB then write Name, name, NamE, nAMe etc... then press Enter
(without made or not shortcuts) so for example make an Excel file text or file TXT similar with your favorite ones
the Just Copy / Past just before the Pressing TAB ;) it's a rustic solution but without headache of memory! :)

Shortcut keys can be the following:
0 thru 9
A thru Z
F1 thru F12
+ , . / = ;

There may be a few more...
 


Also, prefixes to the above may be used:
Alt+
Ctrl+
Ctrl+Alt+
Ctrl+Shift+
Shift+

Combinations of the above make for a very large number of possible shortcut keys.

Great for the 6 Nudge scripts:
PageUp
PageDown
UpArrow
DownArrow
LeftArrow
RightArrow

There may be a few combinations which do not work, or are already spoken for....

Hi brane, do you mean you are installing a plug-in and you want to set up a keyboard shortcut for it?

If you are still stuck, please say what plug-in you are installing and that will help to give you some specific information for how to set it up.

Also setting up shortcut keys is a little easier in MoI v4 than in v3, in V4 when you set up a new shortcut key you can just push the shortcut instead of needing to type out its name like you do in v3.

Problem of all Shortcuts of any program is the memorize of them!
I can't memorized more than shortcuts 5 by prog and I use maybe 20 - 50 progs for the fun so...any tricks is fabulous!

What is the command line command for BooleanIsect? I have been trying to create shortcuts for Boolean operations and I have managed to do this for the other commands but not for Isect.

Ctrl+1 - BooleanDifference
Ctrl+2 - BooleanUnion
Ctrl+3 - BooleanIsect ?
Ctrl+4 - BooleanMerge

Try with "Intersect" ? No it's not : that gives the intersection curves of volumes...:)

it's "BooleanIntersection" :)

You can test by Press Tab then write your function without space
like Circle, CIRCLE, CirclE etc...
