with an absurd UI and UX.

Respectfully disagree on that front. At first it is weird and completely different from basically anything on the market. Its 2.5D roots and starting canvas in this 2.5D mode do not help either.
But it is super fluid and usable and quite clever if you can go past that. Quite frankly if the UI/UX were so bad as some of the folks are trying to make it no one would use it, no matter how responsive sculpting is. Especially considering huge chunk of artists are not very tech minded folks.
But I digress...
I've been quite hyped when I saw this version. I really though they had come up with something that could replace Sculptris. Sadly it has one major flaw - you can work on a single object only, which basically makes it a super limited demo, nothing more.
