I wrote this before getting to the information that you are Swiss. But, I decided to keep my comments because just writing them brought back so many good memories.
In 1981 I was working for a video game company (Astrocade) and we were in discussions with Standard Elektrik Lorenze in Pforzheim.
Had the deal gone through I was to live there for several years. I was really looking forward to it because that was such a beautiful area. But, it was not to be. And, that saddens me because I never learned German and cannot fully appreciate your lessons, which look wonderful.
But, I did get two great things out of the experience. First, my trips to Pforzheim, where I had time to sight-see, and secondly, the privilege of taking the CEO of the Standard Elektrik to the Seigfried & Roy Show in Las Vegas during one CES event. That remains a wonderful memory.
I, for one, whether I can understand German or not, will definitely try to follow along in your classes on jewelry. As I do, I'd like to get back to you if I miss something.
Thank you so much for this effort.
