Increase precision of hidden line detection

Hidden lines that are rendered as normal lines are often confusing, like the "step" in the attached example.

Is there maybe a hidden setting that can increase the precision here, similar to the "Mesh angle" setting but for hidden line removal?

Hi Andre, sorry no there isn't currently any setting to modify that.
