1st curves : polyline + filet .... few points

2nd curves : freeform ... a lot of points if you offset

3rd curves ... copies of the 2nd curevs and apply the script Rebuild ... few points

points can be deleted manually ... select a point and press Delete key on keyboard

Hi Tony,

re:

You can try the Rebuild command:
http://moi3d.com/3.0/docs/moi_command_reference10.htm#rebuild

But in general I would not recommend trying to edit the control points of an offset. Offset curves have a lot of points in them because the offset is generated by a fitting process. Just offsetting the control polygon of a curve does not yield an accurate offset curve, see here for an example:

1st - draw your piece - offset - rebuild the 2 lines ( yellow lines ) - extrude

2nd - apply a large filet - copy paste the borders of the filets - and join them - now you have perfect parallel lines

3nd - draw a profil to sweep the 2 parallel lines - and the swep is ultra clean with same distance everywhere
