New video tutorial

Ok, I've got an initial video tutorial wrapped up.

This goes over the steps for building a crown with club shapes in it (like playing card clubs). I try to go pretty slow and give a lot of commentary about how some basic operations work, like selection and construction lines. This is a good way to see how some of these features are applied in a real modeling session.

Length: 9 minutes, Size: 7.3 MB.

Please let me know if the video doesn't seem to play properly for you. You can also download the video directly here: http://moi3d.com/1.0/docs/CrownOfClubs.wmv.

Thanks guys, I am glad that is working well.

This seems like it is going to be a great way to explain things, I found that it was a lot easier to explain quite a few little details in this video that would tend to be kind of awkward and harder to describe in just a text description.

Right now my plan is to do 4 more videos similar to this, and then that along with the reference material (currently available from here: http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=931.37 ) will be the initial documentation for the version 1.0 release.

I should be able to add additional videos from time to time after the initial release as well...

Excellent video Michael. I posted your news about MoI on a couple of EIAS forums and posted your video link as well. Potential users should get a feel for the 'mindset' of the program, it's tools, and work flow.

Well done.
