Hi Moose, I don't really have any idea of what I could do to fix this, MoI is not trying to access any special tablet features or treat it any different than it does a mouse...

The only thing that I can really think of is some kind of problem in the Wacom driver.

Your best bet is to try a different version of the driver which you can get here:

Hey Micheal,
I have a Wacom CTE-440 tablet, and have what is likely the same problem.
Essentially, at some point, it switches between pen-mode and mouse-mode.
If I try to reproduce it, almost looks like it happens when I rotate an object.
There is a setting in the config utility to change modes, but it remains set to pen-mode.

Hey Moose,
Did you ever get this problem with your tablet resolved? I haven't figured mine out yet.

Thanks!
Kevin

Hi Kevin, the only thing I can really think of is to try a different driver.

It looks like there are 5 different driver versions available for your tablet here:
http://www.wacom.com/productsupport/drivers.cfm?os=XP&product=CTE4

The newest one there actually says "RC" which means Release Candidate, that means it is still kind of in progress and hasn't been completely finalized. Maybe that one is not a good one to use, maybe try one of the older ones.

Also you might try uninstalling your current driver using Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs before installing any older version.
